3 weeks agoMy family and I stayed at the Sunset Reef and we couldn’t have asked for a better family vacation. When we arrived we were greeted with a taxi that was waiting for us that the hotel had arranged prior to our arrival . When we got to the hotel we were warmly welcomed by Natasha and Joel . They had welcome drinks and fresh cold towels. Our room was all set and no wait to check in . The room was so clean and my favorite part was the Nespresso machine . I had 2 cups daily ! The sunsets were immaculate . My family and I sat outside on beautiful patio furniture with a cozy fire. Each morning we were greeted with such nice staff . Our waitress Christine was so sweet . She kept refilling our cups with ice water. The engineer Benjamin made sure my kids had fun in the pool . He blew up fun floaties for them . My boys also headed to the beach for kayaking . Our flights got cancelled due to a snowstorm and Joel and Natasha happily upgraded us to a 2 bedroom which was exceptional . The views were impeccable ! The weather was perfect aa well ! I honestly can’t wait to go back !Tina and Jack

a month agoAbsolutely stunning resort, the rooms are beautiful and the pool area so tranquil and wonderfully laid out. Gorgeous nooks to hide away, spectacular views over the Caribbean Sea and access to the beach. Food & drinks were great. Live music & band also. Highly recommend Will definitely be back!!

a month agoSCAM. I'm extremely disappointed with my experience at this hotel. The room rates are outrageous, with prices reaching as high as $1,500. In my opinion, the maximum rate should be around $650. It's disheartening to see big chains like Hilton supporting small hotels that don't meet their usual standards. The kitchen is also in a deplorable state, with a massive fly infestation that makes breakfast a nightmare.I've had the pleasure of staying at luxurious 5-star hotels like the Four Seasons and Ritz Carlton, where the nightly rate is also around the same amount per night ($1,500.00), but the experience is unparalleled.Unfortunately, my stay at Sunset Reef in St Kitts was a far cry from those high-end experiences, and I felt utterly scammed.A major concern is the hotel's location on an uninviting road that doesn't feel safe to walk at night. This hotel should be a 3 star hotel. Unfortunately the hotel industry is not regulated and nobody checks the correct rating assignment, because is impossible to be a 5 stars hotel.

7 months agoSunset Reef was absolutely stunning. The views from each room and infinity pool were spectacular. The pathways around this spacious boutique hotel were clean and beautifully designed with flora and fauna (monkeys in the back mango tree). Their restaurant, Drop Anchor Grill was top notch. Everything was freshly handmade and tasty. The rooms were spacious and decorated perfectly and supplied with all that we needed. The managers and staff were so accommodating and personable. Sunset Reef is great for a couple, a family, or even sharing with a bunch of your best friends and family. This place does not disappoint.

7 months agoWe had a vacation of a lifetime at Sunset Reef St. Kitts. The rooms were spacious and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed. The beds and pillows were seriously the best I’ve ever slept on. After a day in the sun, getting such a fantastic sleep was the perfect way to recharge. Each morning, I enjoyed a rich Nespresso while taking in breathtaking views of the water, with pelicans soaring by and playful monkeys nearby. A truly peaceful way to start the day.Despite my dietary restrictions, the restaurant went above and beyond to create delicious, carefully crafted meals. I also loved working out every day with those spectacular views as my backdrop, then cooling down in the cold plunge pool, a refreshing, luxurious touch. The staff were warm, friendly, and always had a smile, making the whole stay feel genuinely welcoming. The location is perfect for exploring the island. If you want a relaxing island escape that feels like a little luxury, I’d definitely recommend Sunset Reef.
