6 months agoIt's one of the easier hikes in Trinidad. Very short trail and definitely worth the trek. Depending on the person, this hike can be a bit of a challenge with some climbing and uneven paths. The waterfall is nice, cool water and surrounded by nature. It’s not packed with tourists, so it’s perfect if you’re looking for some peace and quiet. Just make sure you come prepared with water, proper shoes, and some snacks, ‘cause there’s not much around in terms of amenities. The water can get dirty if rain falls.

a year agoOne of the trailheads is in a person yard. You can park in the person's yard at a cost. This was an easy 15-minute hike to the waterfall, and the trailis are well maintained. You would have to cross the river twice and walk about 2 minutes up river to reach the falls. The falls were amazing, and the water was icey. At the base of the falls is a deep pool, so i recommend you walk with a lifejacket . There is another falls above falls with a 3 foot pool ideal for bathing. There was a lot of wildlife around like birds, insects, and fishes. If you are looking for a fun hike with you and the family , it's the most visit.

2 years agoAbsolutely gorgeous location. The hike is a 2/10 for me. My guest found the areas with the rope a bit difficult. There are 2 natural waterfalls in one area, one above and below. Really big pools to swim in and a river running through. To enter you have to pay the homeowner to walk through her property if you park in the road, its TT$10 for adults and TT$5 for children or TT$40 per vehicle.

5 months agoModerately difficult, went with a hiking group to guide us. Difficult level was a 5/6 as an amateur hiker. It did rain a bit which did make it a little more difficult so on a dry day it might be more of a 5

5 months agoDidnt make it..you have to walk through private property of which the owner charges 40 trinidad dollars to park on (other places around didnt seem safe), which made me lose interest for a below average looking waterfall
